Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a fast‑moving manufacturing factory in Donnington. You will work on a 12‑hour rotating shift pattern, collaborating with a small, family‑feel engineering team to keep plant equipment running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and project work on plant and machinery.
• Troubleshoot Siemens and other PLC equipment.
• Maintain sensors, relays, contactors, drives, AC/DC motors and 3‑phase electrical systems.
• Liaise with the Mechanical Team to resolve engineering issues.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of machinery and systems.
• Ensure safe working practices and produce cost‑effective, high‑quality output.
• Identify efficiency‑boosting solutions and keep accurate logs of work performed.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Electrical Engineer, preferably with an apprenticeship background.
• Physically fit and able to work 12‑hour day/night rotations.
• Desire to grow skills within a supportive, team‑oriented environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

What we offer

• Salary £50,000‑£53,000 per annum
