Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

CV Technical Ltd, a well‑established manufacturing business in Romsey, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. You will be responsible for keeping production equipment running efficiently through both planned and reactive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a variety of production machinery.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns, perform fault finding and execute repairs.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime and boost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health, safety and site procedures.

Required profile

• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging or industrial environment.
• Strong electrical fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach to maintenance work.
