Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established manufacturer supplying many of the UK’s leading brands. The role offers a balanced 37.5‑hour week, weekly pay and an early finish every Friday, providing a rewarding engineering experience within a stable production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Fault‑find on electrical systems, motors, drives and PLC‑controlled equipment.
• Support machinery installations, upgrades and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Collaborate with production teams to maximise equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in line with company procedures.

Required profile

• Electrical Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Knowledge of 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven electrical fault‑finding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with PLC fault‑finding.
• Good mechanical maintenance skills.
• Proactive attitude with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
