Electrical Maintenance Engineer – £42k, Days Only

About the role

We are partnering with a long‑established manufacturing business near Tiverton that operates a continuous process environment. The role offers a stable, days‑only schedule with flexible start and finish times, providing a strong work‑life balance for an experienced electrical maintenance professional.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the site.
• Diagnose and resolve faults on electrical systems and production equipment.
• Support installations, projects and plant improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate contractors and oversee on‑site electrical work.
• Assist with maintenance planning and reliability improvement activities.

Required profile

• Electrical‑focused maintenance background.
• Experience in manufacturing, process or industrial environments.
• Confident fault finding on three‑phase systems, motors, drives and panels.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Three‑phase electrical systems.
• Motors and variable‑frequency drives.
• Electrical panels and control systems.
• PLC troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Preventive and reactive maintenance techniques.
