Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Rotating Days & Nights

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well‑established manufacturing business in the GL56 area. The role involves working on a rotating days and nights shift pattern, supporting a fast‑paced production environment while maintaining a strong work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on site machinery and equipment.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.
• Conduct fault finding on production and manufacturing machinery.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects.
• Minimise downtime and improve plant efficiency.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.

Required profile

• Electrically qualified engineer.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
