Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are partnering with a globally recognised leader in logistics, automation and infrastructure to recruit Electrical Maintenance Technicians for a fast‑moving distribution facility in Stanford‑le‑Hope, Essex. You will be responsible for keeping critical electrical systems running smoothly in a modern, automated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, motors, inverters and drives.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, including PLC troubleshooting.
• Maintain and service cranes or other lifting equipment.
• Support 24/7 operations across Panama Shift 2s and 3s (days and nights).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical engineering or maintenance.
• Relevant engineering qualification.
• Experience with electrical fault finding and PLCs.
• Hands‑on experience maintaining motors, inverters and drives.
• Willingness to work shift patterns in a high‑pace logistics setting.
