Electrical Manager (Lead)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to provide technical leadership across complex, multidisciplinary construction projects. Based in Cheltenham with regular travel to sites across the South of England, you will shape engineering standards and mentor a team of engineers while delivering projects for blue‑chip clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering delivery from concept through to commissioning on large‑scale construction projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, working closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, contractors and consultants.
• Act as the technical authority for electrical engineering, resolving design challenges and ensuring compliance.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards and best‑practice documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.
• Contribute to business development and client liaison activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Electrical Building Services Engineer or Technical Engineering Lead on complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary building services and engineering standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence engineering strategy within a growing organisation.
