Electrical Manager (Lead) – Technical Leadership Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to provide technical leadership across complex, multidisciplinary construction projects. Based in Cheltenham with regular travel to sites across the South of England, you will guide engineering delivery from concept to commissioning for blue‑chip clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design and coordination on large‑scale construction projects.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, establishing engineering standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, contractors and consultants to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure solutions are practical, compliant, and fully integrated with multidisciplinary services.
• Contribute to business development and technical proposals.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Electrical Building Services Engineer or Technical Engineering Lead.
• Strong background delivering complex construction projects in sectors such as food manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, energy or distribution.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence engineering strategy.
