Electrical Shift Engineer – Continental Shift – London

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a high‑rise commercial building on Liverpool Street, London. The role operates on a continental shift pattern and involves maintaining all electrical and related services across the landlord's areas.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out lighting installation, fault‑finding, lamp replacement and ballast changes.
• Maintain emergency lighting and control panels.
• Service air handling units, fan coil units and perform filter changes.
• Check and reset chillers, monitor water treatment temperatures.
• Inspect and support plumbing, pumps and motors.
• Monitor BMS systems for hot and cold plant performance.
• Report faults, health & safety issues and communicate with client staff.

Required profile

• Electrically qualified to C&G or NVQ level (18th edition).
• Experience working in large commercial buildings.
• Ability to provide trade certificates on request.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Availability for early‑morning shift starts.
