Electrical Supervisor – Lead Maintenance Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead the delivery of critical maintenance services across two large campus sites in Kent. Reporting to the Head of Maintenance & Infrastructure, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive electrical work, ensuring reliability, safety and high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
• Act as the Authorised Person (Electrical) and issue permits to work.
• Manage and develop a team of Approved Electricians and maintenance staff.
• Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance for all electrical assets.
• Oversee CAFM‑managed maintenance programmes and meet SLA targets.
• Coordinate external contractors and specialist service providers.
• Provide technical advice, reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and support long‑term asset management strategies.

Required profile

• HNC/HND, ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience managing electrical building services in a complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and Hard FM best practice.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and contractors.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
