About the role
1st Step Solutions is supporting a Tier 1 M&E contractor on a new residential project in Manchester, which is looking for an Electrical Supervisor. This is a 12-month contract covering the coordination and supervision of electrical installation work.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the installation and supervise contractors and subcontractors, making sure they are adequately trained and follow H&S procedures
- Carry out site surveys and manage variations
- Ensure the quality of the installation is high and that it is snag-free
- Order materials, complete schedules of work and schedule materials so the programme of works is delivered
- Conduct toolbox talks and liaise regularly with managers, reporting on all site works
- Manage paperwork such as RFIs, method statements, risk assessments, site diaries and progress reports
Required profile
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Previous experience on commercial projects
Required skills
- SSSTS/SMSTS card
- ECS/Jib Gold Card
