Electrical Support Engineer

About the role

Our client is a global specialist for intelligent drive technology and systems, seeking an Electrical Support Engineer to join their growing team in Croydon. The role offers a competitive salary and excellent career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Manage electrical tasks, testing protocols and issues together with senior engineering staff.
• Own, develop and maintain the Job Pack system for all electrically‑biased job packs.
• Create, review, certify and manage electrically‑biased Bills of Materials (BoMs).
• Determine, design, select and reverse‑engineer electrical components, systems and test equipment.
• Conduct investigations, analyses and research to support NCRs, customer complaints, warranty claims and fault diagnosis.

Required profile

• Minimum HNC/HND (or equivalent) qualification in electrical/electronics/avionics engineering.
• Design experience with a balance of general design engineering and reverse engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals, principles and their application to products.
