About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our client’s team on a contract basis in Didcot. The role focuses on building and wiring control panels, racks and prototypes to industry standards, supporting ongoing manufacturing and automation projects.
Key responsibilities
- Build control panels and assemble rack systems.
- Wire panels to IPC standards and perform cable pulling.
- Carry out prototype wiring and add connectors to cables.
- Interpret and work from diagrams, schematics and technical drawings.
- Apply knowledge of 18th edition electrical standards where required.
Required profile
- Proven experience in electrical panel construction and wiring.
- Familiarity with IPC wiring standards.
- Ability to read and follow electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Preference for candidates with 18th edition electrical certification.
