Electrical Tester – Day Shift (7am‑7pm)

About the role

We are seeking four experienced Electrical Testers to join a close‑knit team in Farnborough. The role operates on a continental day‑shift (7 am‑7 pm) and involves travelling to a second site once or twice a month.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inductions and issue PTW, ATW, LOA and dynamic risk assessments.
• Escort subcontractors and respond to reactive maintenance, breakdowns and emergency works.
• Perform fault‑finding, plant adjustments and record meter readings.
• Monitor energy consumption and identify proactive savings.
• Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) using Manager+ and MCIM systems.
• Carry out monthly generator testing and weekly fire‑alarm testing.
• Maintain site logbooks, asset data and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of electrical testing experience in a commercial environment.
• City & Guilds / EAL / NVQ (Level 3) or equivalent in Electrical Installations/Engineering.
• Desirable: Test & Inspection qualification (2391, 2394 or 2395).
