Electrical Tester

About the role

Raven Housing Trust is expanding its Property & Estate Services team and needs two experienced Electrical Testers to ensure safe, compliant homes across its portfolio. You will work on site, travelling between Croydon and Brighton, to deliver high‑quality electrical services for void properties.

Key responsibilities

• Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in void properties before re‑letting.
• Replace Consumer Units (CCUs) and carry out remedial works to meet current wiring regulations.
• Provide certification and compliance documentation for all electrical work.
• Maintain van stock levels to minimise downtime and improve repair rates.
• Enter job data on‑site using hand‑held IT systems for real‑time tracking and cost control.

Required profile

• City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing) and 18th Edition (2382) qualifications.
• Proven experience in residential electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards, especially in tenant‑occupied environments.
