Electrical Trainer / Assessor (Level 3) – £40k‑£50k

About the role

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced electrician to move off the tools and into a training environment. You will deliver Level 3 Electrical Installation and Maintenance apprenticeships, helping the next generation of electricians develop both practical and theoretical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical Installation/Maintenance Apprenticeship training and related short courses.
• Assist in creating and updating learning resources and course materials.
• Maintain accurate documentation of learner progress and outcomes.
• Identify and overcome learning barriers, adapting delivery to individual needs.
• Prepare learners for successful End Point Assessments.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician holding at least a Level 3 (Domestic) certification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ hands‑on experience in electrical work.
• Professional, confident communicator able to inspire and motivate learners.
• IT literate with basic computer skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
