Electrical Trainer

About the role

The Electrical Trainer will deliver CTP Electrical Engineering training to Service Leavers, supporting their skills development and transition into sustainable employment. You will create schemes of work, lesson plans and keep the curriculum up‑to‑date with awarding body and sector requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging electrical training to learners, meeting the standards of awarding bodies.
• Support the Head of Engineering with annual course planning and programme updates.
• Assist with exam and assessment administration, including invigilation.
• Maintain and develop training facilities and workshops to ensure a professional learning environment.

Required profile

• Experienced electrician or electrical trainer/assessor.
• Ability to adapt training to diverse learning styles.
• Strong organisational skills for lesson planning and curriculum updates.
