Electrical Tutor / Assessor (Qualified or Trainee)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Tutor/Assessor to deliver Level 3 Electrical Installation and Maintenance apprenticeships across Cambridgeshire. The role is site‑based and involves both practical and theoretical teaching, supporting learners from day one through to their End Point Assessment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Electrical Installation and Maintenance apprenticeship training to learners at Level 3.
• Develop and update learning resources and course materials.
• Track and record learner progress, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Identify and overcome barriers to learning, adapting delivery to individual needs.
• Prepare learners for successful completion of their End Point Assessment.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with at least a Level 3 (Domestic) qualification.
• Minimum five years’ experience working as an electrician.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
