Electrical Tutor / Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

About the role

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced electrician to join their team as an Electrical Tutor/Assessor. You will deliver Level 3 Electrical Installation and Maintenance apprenticeships and short courses, working both on‑site and in classroom environments across Cambridgeshire.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theoretical components of Level 3 Electrical Installation/Maintenance apprenticeships.
• Develop and implement learning resources and course materials.
• Maintain accurate documentation of learner progress and assessment outcomes.
• Identify and overcome barriers to learning, adapting delivery to individual needs.
• Prepare learners for End Point Assessment and ensure they meet competency standards.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with a minimum Level 3 (Domestic) qualification.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as an electrician.
• Confident, professional demeanor with the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
