Electrician (2391 / 18th Edition) – £50-55k + Benefits

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician holding a 2391 (18th Edition) certificate to join a leading engineering firm delivering projects across rail, utilities, infrastructure and marine sectors. The role involves installing and commissioning a variety of industrial electrical equipment on sites throughout the UK, primarily in London and the Home Counties.

Key responsibilities

• Install 3‑phase control systems on pumps, switchgear and well equipment.
• Lay and terminate power distribution cables.
• Prepare, test and commission panels, switchgear and pumps, issuing certificates and reports.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed equipment.
• Travel to project sites across the Home Counties and occasionally work overtime.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrician with a valid 2391 (18th Edition) certification.
• Experience installing industrial electrical equipment such as pumps, panels and controls.
• Willingness to travel within the Home Counties.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 40‑hour week.
