Electrician / Approved Electrician – Aberdeen

About the role

HF Group is expanding its Electrical Division in Aberdeen and is looking for qualified Electricians / Approved Electricians. You will work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, delivering high‑quality installations, maintenance and testing while adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations in line with BS7671 and current building regulations.
• Perform inspection, testing and certification of electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults safely and efficiently.
• Supervise apprentices and junior electricians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
• Liaise with clients and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Conduct regular PPM visits and review engineers' reports to price remedial work.

Required profile

• Valid SJIB Electrician or Approved Electrician status (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• ECS grading card (Gold) preferred.
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Health & safety awareness and ability to work at height (IPAF 3a & 3b desirable).

• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (preferred)

• EV experience (desirable)
