Electrician – Building Management Systems (North West England)

About the role

We are recruiting a qualified Electrician to join a leading electrical contracting firm in the North West. Based at the Leyland office in Preston, you will deliver high-quality electrical installations for Building Management Systems across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations for Building Management Systems (BMS) and control panels.
• Install and wire containment systems and field devices.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Test completed installations, identify and resolve faults.
• Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and relevant electrical regulations.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and organised on-site working environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a BMS Electrician, Controls Electrician or in a similar electrical installation role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team.

Required skills

• Building Management Systems installation.
• Control panel wiring.

• Interpretation of electrical drawings and schematics.
• Fault finding and problem-solving.
