Electrician – Building Management Systems (North West)

About the role

We are recruiting a qualified Electrician to join a leading electrical contracting firm in the North West. The role is based at the Leyland office and involves delivering high‑quality electrical installations for Building Management Systems across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out high‑quality electrical installations for Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Install and wire control panels, containment systems and field devices.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Test completed installations and identify any faults or technical issues.
• Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and relevant electrical regulations.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and organised working environment on‑site.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a BMS Electrician, Controls Electrician or in a similar electrical installation role.
• Experience installing and wiring Building Management Systems is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team.
