Electrician – Commercial & Residential Projects – Chester

About the role

Join PHS Compliance as an Electrician working across a variety of commercial and domestic properties in the Chester area. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality electrical work, from remedial repairs to LED lighting projects, while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical remedial works and correct C2, C3 and F/I defects identified in EICR reports.
• Respond to reactive call‑outs and perform scheduled maintenance, both during normal hours and out‑of‑hours.
• Install, replace and commission LED lighting systems across retail, hospitality, sports, healthcare and education sites.
• Complete all required administration, including work orders, inspection reports, customer notes and quotations.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence (minimum 12 months, subject to insurance requirements).
• Qualified Electrician with SJIB/JIB card and NVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2).
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification and AM2 certification.
• Good IT literacy and understanding of health and safety regulations.
• IPAF and PASMA certification desirable.
