Electrician – Field Engineering

About the role

We are looking for skilled electricians to join our Field Engineering team, delivering safe, high‑quality electrical work to customers’ homes on a same‑day basis. You will combine technical expertise with excellent customer service to ensure fast, first‑time fixes and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairs in domestic properties.
• Electrical installations and upgrades.
• Full and partial rewires.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, compliantly and correctly the first time.
• Providing professional advice to customers and achieving first‑time fixes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified electrician.
• City & Guilds 2365 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent) with Level 3 Technical Certificate including NET AM2.
• City & Guilds 2382 – BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience in the electrical industry.
• City & Guilds 2391/52 (or equivalent) – highly desirable.
• Willingness to undertake future training in Net Zero technologies.

Required skills

• Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Electrical installations, upgrades and rewiring.
• Compliance with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
• Knowledge of City & Guilds 2365, 2382 and NET AM2 standards.
