Electrician – Full‑time, Bristol

About the role

We are seeking a qualified electrician to join our Bristol team on a full‑time permanent basis. The role involves hands‑on maintenance, repair and installation of electrical systems in both void and occupied properties.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs to lighting circuits, sockets, fuseboards and other electrical installations.
• Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Replace or repair faulty components such as switches, outlets, light fittings and circuit breakers.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet daily repair targets and respond to emergency call‑outs.
• Communicate clearly with tenants or residents about repair work and outcomes.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and adhere to health and safety policies.
• Use IT maintenance management systems to prioritise and record work.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience in residential electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work on‑site across Bristol and surrounding areas.

Required skills

• Electrical repairs and circuit troubleshooting.
• Lighting circuit maintenance.

• Switch, outlet and circuit breaker replacement.
• Electrical inspection and testing.
• Use of IT maintenance management systems.

What we offer
