Electrician – Permanent Full‑Time in Hampshire

About the role

We are seeking an experienced domestic electrician for a permanent, full‑time position in Hampshire. The role offers stable employment, a local working area and a consistent workload across occupied homes.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and new installations in domestic properties.
• Diagnose faults on single‑phase and three‑phase systems and complete remedial work to a high standard.
• Perform testing and inspection, including EICRs, portable appliance testing and minor works certification.
• Install and replace showers, electric heating, immersion heaters and domestic heating controls.
• Record all work and certifications using handheld systems and flag any urgent health‑ and‑safety issues.

Required profile

• Fully qualified electrician with proven domestic experience.
• Holds an AM2 qualification (or equivalent) and City & Guilds 18th Edition (2382).
• Strong fault‑finding ability and familiarity with British Standards and manufacturer requirements.
• Full UK manual driving licence and residence within Hampshire or a reasonable commuting distance.
• Willing to undergo a DBS check.
