Electrician – £40k-£42.5k + Overtime, Vehicle, Training

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join an established housing services provider in the South West. The role offers a balanced 40‑hour week, local patch work across Dorset with no stays away, and the chance to develop your career through training and progression.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, testing and maintenance on a variety of projects, including social housing.
• Work field‑based across the Dorset area (Winchester to Dorchester) ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Complete 2391 inspection and test procedures and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with 17th or 18th edition certification (or equivalent).
• Possession of, or on track to obtain, a 2391 Inspection and Test certificate before October.
• Full UK driver’s licence and experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, AM2, JIB Gold Card are desirable.
