Electrician – Residential Property Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join Axis CLC’s team supporting Notting Hill Genesis housing properties across East and North London. The role involves delivering electrical maintenance, testing and installation services in residential units, ensuring compliance with current regulations and high standards of safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, repairs and routine servicing in domestic properties.
• Carry out health and safety risk assessments on site before work begins.
• Test and inspect electrical systems and appliances in line with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Identify, report and rectify faulty or non‑compliant installations.
• Replace sockets, fittings and related components as required.
• Interpret job tickets accurately and complete works to specification.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems with a focus on safety and compliance.
• Detail‑oriented and able to deliver high‑quality workmanship.
• Capable of managing workload independently and maintaining a professional, customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• AM2 qualification.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
• Clean UK driving licence.
• Eligibility for DBS check.
