Electrician - Southampton

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Electrician to join our team in Southampton, delivering high‑quality electrical repairs, testing and installations across the South East region. The role is full‑time and permanent, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, testing and installations in line with BS 7671 standards.
• Maintain high‑quality service while adhering to Health & Safety policies.
• Record accurate data using PDA/mobile communication systems.
• Complete tasks efficiently, within agreed timescales and material allowances.
• Participate in monthly team briefs, toolbox talks and technical bulletins.
• Provide a positive, inclusive attitude to customers and colleagues.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (e.g., C&G) and 18th Edition qualification.
• Inspection and Testing qualifications (e.g., C&G + 2395).
• National Electro‑technical Training (NET) AM2 Certificate.
• Willingness to work out‑of‑hours rota and attend call‑outs.
• Valid full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

Required skills

• Knowledge of BS 7671 standards.
• Proficiency with PDA/mobile communication systems for data entry.
• 18th Edition electrical qualification.
• Inspection & Testing (C&G + 2395) certification.
• NET AM2 certification.
