Electrician Supervisor – North West England

About the role

We are recruiting an Electrician Supervisor for a leading electrical contracting firm in the North West of England. The role is based at the company’s Leyland office and involves overseeing electrical works across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, support and motivate a site team on a daily basis.
• Perform and oversee high‑quality electrical installations.
• Install and wire control panels, containment systems and field devices.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to review drawings and monitor progress against the programme.
• Assign tasks and manage workload across the team.
• Inspect work quality and carry out on‑site quality‑control checks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on site and identify design or installation problems early.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Electrician Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor, Lead Electrician or a comparable role.
• Valid Gold JIB/ECS card; SSSTS qualification preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience installing and wiring control panels, containment and field devices.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality‑control focus.
