Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electro‑Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our fast‑growing engineering and manufacturing company at its modern headquarters in Woking. You will be responsible for assembling, testing and inspecting precision electro‑mechanical products that support autonomous sensor systems and integrated servo drives for global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble electro‑mechanical components using soldering, cable harnessing and mechanical fitting techniques.
• Interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics and Bills of Materials to build products to specification.
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing, fault finding and rework to ensure compliance with ISO quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow Health & Safety, COSHH and ESD procedures.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives in collaboration with engineering, quality and manufacturing teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in complex electro‑mechanical assembly.
• Full right to work in the UK and ability to obtain BPSS clearance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Soldering and cable harness construction.
• Mechanical fitting and use of hand tools.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring schematics and Bills of Materials.
• Precision measuring equipment operation.
• Electrical and mechanical testing, fault finding and repair.
