Electromechanical Maintenance Technician – Shift Work

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with strong electromechanical knowledge to join a global manufacturing client in Oldham, Greater Manchester. The role operates on a rotating shift pattern covering days and nights, ensuring continuous equipment availability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, service and optimise complex electro‑mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Perform fault finding and repair down to the component level.
• Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and respond to reactive breakdowns.
• Document maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified to HNC, HND or degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work a shift pattern that includes both day and night shifts.
• Resident or commuter to the Greater Manchester area.
