Electromechanical Service Technician – South England

About the role

We are seeking an Electromechanical Service Technician to join a rapidly expanding engineering company based in Maidenhead. You will work across a Southern England patch, travelling in a company van to service, install and demonstrate bespoke machinery to a variety of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance and repairs on electromechanical equipment.
• Install new machinery and provide on‑site demonstrations for customers.
• Travel door‑to‑door across the assigned Southern patch, with occasional overnight stays.
• Document service activities and report any issues to the engineering team.
• Adhere to health and safety standards while working on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service Technician in an electromechanical environment (e.g., catering equipment, ATMs, commercial cleaning, material handling).
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule.
• Willingness to travel regularly within South England.

• Electromechanical troubleshooting.
• Mechanical repair and maintenance.
• Electrical diagnostics and wiring.
• Installation and commissioning of custom machinery.
• Reading and interpreting technical schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
