Electromechanical Technician

About the role

Join a fast‑growing provider of integrated power, monitoring and control systems. You will work in a clean, modern facility just a short walk from the train station, with free on‑site parking and charging points. The role offers hands‑on experience across vehicle, marine and off‑grid projects, from prototypes to full production builds.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and wire a variety of electromechanical systems.
• Install electrical components such as contactors, MCBs, RCBOs, sensors and PCBs.
• Perform wiring, crimping and soldering to precise standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics and bills of materials.
• Carry out mechanical assembly and integration of components.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience in electromechanical assembly, wiring or similar hands‑on engineering roles.
• Confidence using hand tools, crimpers and soldering equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD/ePLAN).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Backgrounds such as lift engineering, electrical assembly or small‑circuit work are beneficial.
