About the role
We are looking for an experienced Electronic Design Engineer to join a leading client in Tewkesbury. The role involves designing, developing and evaluating electronic hardware assemblies for a range of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and evaluate electronic hardware assemblies.
- Create and review electronic schematics and PCB layouts.
- Debug hardware and support board bring‑up activities.
- Investigate and resolve hardware design issues and defects.
- Conduct EMC/EMI compliance testing and address related problems.
- Produce and review production and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with firmware and technical support teams to resolve customer issues.
Required profile
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as Altium and ORCAD.
- Understanding of design‑for‑manufacture (DFM) principles.
- Experience using defect tracking systems, e.g., JIRA.
