Electronic Security Systems Engineer – CCTV, Access Control & Alarms

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electronic Security Systems Engineer to install, service and maintain CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems across North London and surrounding areas. This field‑based position involves both planned maintenance and reactive call‑outs, ensuring our customers receive reliable, high‑quality security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain intruder alarm systems.
• Install and configure CCTV systems (both IP and analogue).
• Perform fault‑finding and system diagnostics.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
• Respond to reactive service call‑outs as required.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Provide excellent on‑site customer service.

Required profile

• Proven experience with electronic security systems (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control).
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Knowledge of IP‑based CCTV systems is highly desirable.
• Understanding of security system commissioning and maintenance.
• Ability to work independently across multiple customer sites.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Relevant industry qualifications.
