Electronics Engineer – Power Supply Design

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to lead the design of power supply solutions for a specialist engineering business. You will own projects from concept through to production, working closely with customers in demanding sectors such as defence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑lifecycle power supply design projects, from topology selection to final validation.
• Develop circuit schematics, perform PCB layout, and conduct prototype testing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to solve technically challenging applications.
• Document designs, generate test reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in power supply design, preferably in senior or lead roles.
• Hands‑on ability to design circuits, layout PCBs, and troubleshoot hardware.
• Strong communication skills for direct customer interaction.
• Desire for technical ownership and long‑term stability within a specialist company.
