Electronics Technician

About the role

Tekever, a European leader in unmanned technology operating in digital, defence, security and space, is looking for an Electronics Technician in its Swindon production site. The role manufactures and tests PCBs and wiring harnesses with quality and precision, ensuring correct assembly of electronic components and contributing to reliable electronic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture PCBs and wiring harnesses
• Interpret and read PCB drawings and schematics
• Assemble and solder electronic components
• Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Perform testing and inspection activities to ensure product quality and functionality

Required profile

• Professional course or Higher Professional Technical Course (TESP) in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrotechnics or a related field (preferred)
• Previous professional experience in similar roles within the electronics industry (preferred)
• Familiarity with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
• Ability to read and interpret PCB drawings and schematics (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes (preferred)
• Strong team spirit and ability to integrate into a multidisciplinary team
• High level of responsibility, organisation and task-planning skills, with a proactive, problem-solving approach
