About the role

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join our defendant insurance litigation team in Preston. The role focuses on handling Employers’ Liability and Public Liability claims, providing high‑quality legal advice to insurers and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

Manage and assist on a varied caseload of EL/PL claims, including personal injury and contractual disputes.
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and liaise with opposing parties.
Work closely with insurers to develop case strategies and achieve favourable outcomes.
Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with procedural deadlines.

Required profile

Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer.
Experience handling defendant personal injury, Employers’ Liability or Public Liability claims.
Strong enthusiasm for insurance litigation and a desire to progress within the field.
