Employability Tutor – Glasgow & Grangemouth

About the role

Trigon Recruitment is hiring an Employability Tutor to deliver a two‑week employability programme across Glasgow and Grangemouth. The role involves leading interactive workshops and providing one‑to‑one coaching to help learners develop job‑search, digital and interview skills. You will work with a nationally recognised training provider and support participants in gaining confidence for sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver non‑accredited employability and digital skills training to groups of learners.
• Provide basic IT support such as setting up email accounts, navigating online platforms and completing online applications.
• Assist learners with CV writing, cover letters, job applications and interview preparation.
• Motivate learners to actively search for and apply to suitable job opportunities.
• Conduct a mix of group workshops and individual coaching sessions.
• Set achievable learner goals and record progress in the company database.
• Maintain a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
• Complete all learner administration and documentation in line with company procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience delivering employability, adult learning or vocational training.
• Strong ability to engage learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well‑organised, target‑focused and able to manage learner progression.
• Genuine passion for helping people achieve positive employment outcomes.
• Availability to commit to the full programme starting 17 August 2026.

Required skills

• Basic IT skills sufficient to teach digital confidence.
• Experience supporting CV writing, job searching and interview techniques.
