Employability Tutor

About the role

Trigon Recruitment is hiring an Employability Tutor for a three‑week, full‑time programme in central Edinburgh. You will deliver interactive workshops and one‑to‑one coaching to help learners develop job‑search, CV, and digital skills.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver non‑accredited employability and digital skills training to groups of learners.
• Provide basic IT support, including email setup, attachment handling, and navigation of online job‑search platforms.
• Assist learners with CV writing, cover letters, job applications, and interview preparation.
• Motivate learners to apply for suitable job opportunities.
• Run a mix of group workshops and individual coaching sessions tailored to learner needs.
• Set realistic goals, monitor progress, and record learner data in the company database.
• Maintain an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all learner records and documentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience delivering employability, adult learning, or skills‑based training.
• Strong IT confidence for teaching basic digital skills.
• Experience supporting individuals with CV development, job searching, and interview techniques.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Genuine passion for helping people secure employment.
• Availability for the full three‑week programme starting 14 September 2026.
