Employability Tutor – Training Provider

About the role

Trigon Recruitment is hiring an Employability Tutor on behalf of a nationally recognised training provider. The role involves delivering a two‑week employability programme across Grangemouth and Glasgow, helping adult learners develop the confidence and practical skills needed for sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, non‑accredited workshops on employability and basic digital skills.
• Provide one‑to‑one coaching covering CV writing, cover letters, job applications and interview preparation.
• Offer basic IT support such as setting up email accounts and navigating online job‑search platforms.
• Motivate learners to actively seek and apply for job opportunities.
• Set realistic learner goals, monitor progress using the provider’s database and maintain accurate records.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.

Required profile

• Previous experience delivering employability, adult learning or vocational training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with learners of varied abilities and backgrounds.
• Well‑organised with a genuine passion for supporting people into employment.
• Availability to commit to the full programme starting 17 August 2026.

Required skills

• Basic IT skills for teaching digital confidence.
