Employee Relations Advisor

About the role
The Employee Relations Advisor will join Avidity Group’s People Team, providing expert HR guidance to managers and employees across the business. Working in a hybrid model, you will help ensure people decisions are fair, consistent and aligned with commercial objectives while maintaining compliance with UK employment law.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑line HR advice on a wide range of employee relations matters.
- Manage end‑to‑end employee relations cases, from investigation through resolution.
- Coach and support managers in handling people challenges, balancing employee experience with business needs.
- Facilitate formal processes, investigations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure HR policies are applied consistently and updated as required.
- Use people insights to influence better business decisions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Required profile
- Proven experience in an Employee Relations, HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a broad range of ER cases from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation; ROI experience is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and sound judgement.
- Resilient, proactive and solutions‑focused with a commitment to fairness.
