Employee Relations Advisor

About the role

Diligenta is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join its People Function in Stoke Gifford. You will provide high‑quality, confidential advice on complex and high‑risk employee matters, ensuring consistent and proactive handling of issues while mitigating risk.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert advice on complex, high‑risk employee relations queries, interpreting Diligenta policies and current legislation.
• Lead escalated casework to ACAS and Employment Tribunals, managing costs and outcomes.
• Coordinate the Employment Tribunal claims process alongside the ER Manager and legal counsel.
• Monitor and communicate changes in employment law and HR best practice across the organisation.
• Act as deputy for the Employee Relations Manager when required.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR practice.
• Experience handling high‑risk, confidential employee relations cases.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non‑legal audiences.
