Employee Relations Manager (Talent Tech & Operations)

About the role

Netflix is looking for an Employee Relations Manager to join the Talent Tech & Operations (TTO) team in Amsterdam. You will help shape a scalable employee‑relations framework that supports the full employee lifecycle, working across prevention, case management and data‑driven insights. This role partners closely with HR business partners, legal, inclusion and other talent functions to maintain a high‑performance, inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with HRBPs, Legal and Inclusion to design and embed fair, efficient employee‑relations guidelines and workflows.
• Identify root causes and systemic trends to proactively address issues before they become cases.
• Act as a trusted advisor to people managers, guiding them through sensitive performance, sickness and disciplinary situations.
• Lead and manage complex employee matters, ensuring consistency, rigor and unbiased decision‑making.
• Leverage data and insights to monitor trends, measure effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex employee‑relations cases in a large, fast‑moving organization.
• Strong partnership skills with HR business partners, legal counsel and inclusion teams.
• Excellent judgment and ability to apply consistent, unbiased approaches to performance, conduct and disciplinary matters.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for continuous improvement.
