Employment Adviser – Help Long‑Term Unemployed Find Work

About the role
We are seeking an Employment Adviser to join Reed in Partnership’s Employability Division in South West England. You will work primarily from our Redruth office and spend three days a week at the Penryn outreach centre, supporting long‑term unemployed individuals to overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of long‑term unemployed jobseekers, identify barriers and develop personalised action plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one guidance including CV writing, interview preparation and skills development.
- Engage with local employers to identify job opportunities and promote the Restart Scheme.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to address health, housing or financial challenges.
- Meet performance targets and key performance indicators.
Required profile
- Passion for helping individuals achieve their employment potential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience or interest in supporting disadvantaged or long‑term unemployed groups.
