Employment Advisor – Community Support Specialist

About the role

Join a well‑established charity as an Employment Advisor, supporting people with health conditions or disabilities back into work. You will be based in one of the listed boroughs and work across partner sites such as Job Centres, Council Offices and NHS Trusts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of around 25 participants, delivering tailored employment support.
• Build relationships with local employers to create suitable job opportunities.
• Hot‑desk across various community locations, providing on‑the‑ground assistance.
• Maintain accurate records and meet agreed targets and diary commitments.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Employment Advisor, recruiter, B2B sales professional or in a role supporting vulnerable clients.
• Graduates with relevant paid or voluntary experience are also welcome.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets and manage a personal diary.
• Residence within an hour’s travel of one of the designated boroughs.

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of employment support processes and local labour market.
• Experience using online learning platforms and basic IT tools for case management.
