Employment Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Employment Advisor to join a leading training provider’s teams in St. Austell and Liskeard. You will work directly with participants, offering personalised employability support, career coaching and practical guidance to help them overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants and guide them through the employment journey.
• Deliver tailored employability advice, coaching sessions and action plans.
• Identify and address barriers to employment, providing effective solutions.
• Motivate and challenge participants to achieve their personal goals.
• Build strong relationships with participants, employers and external partners.
• Maintain accurate records and meet agreed performance targets.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure high participant engagement.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in employability, recruitment, training, welfare‑to‑work, sales or customer service.
• Positive, target‑focused and motivational attitude.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Excellent organisational skills and capacity to manage a busy workload.
• Self‑motivated, independent problem‑solver.
• Full UK driving licence or reliable access to public transport.

• Salary £26,500‑£29,545 per year, dependent on experience.
