Employment Advisor – Support Job Seekers in Bristol

About the role

Trigon Recruitment is hiring an Employment Advisor on behalf of a national training provider to work across the BS10 and BS37 areas of Bristol. You will help unemployed individuals referred by Jobcentre Plus overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of job seekers, providing personalised action plans.
• Conduct initial assessments to identify employment barriers.
• Deliver one‑to‑one and group coaching on employability skills.
• Assist participants with job searches, applications and interview preparation.
• Produce high‑quality CVs, cover letters and other job‑search materials.
• Build relationships with employers and source job opportunities.
• Promote and utilise participant funding to improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records in the organisation’s database and meet monthly job‑start targets.

Required profile

• Experience in employability, welfare‑to‑work, recruitment, HR, retail management, travel consultancy or customer‑facing roles is advantageous.
• Passionate about helping others and building relationships.
• Comfortable working in a target‑driven environment.
• Resilient, proactive, self‑motivated and empathetic.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across the area.
